On the 17th January at Folkestone we had a surprise visit from Jenny Barling of JAY BEE COACH TRAVEL. Jenny and her customers had been collecting loose change donations on their coach trips on behalf of Headway East Kent after being nominated by Eileen one of our Tuesday ladies, today a cheque was presented to us  for £850!
Thank you all for such an amazing amount and for raising awareness of our charity.

What wonderful support we had at the official opening of Headway Folkestone’s first Art Exhibition.
Town Mayor & Mayoress of Folkestone Martin & Sheila Salmon and Town Mayor & Mayoress of Lydd Bob & Jean Jones,
along with many supporters enjoyed meeting some of our clients and discussing their contributions to the exhibition, as well as learning a little
more about Headway and the work we do. Feedback was they were all very impressed with the quality of work produced.

Also many of the art pieces were sold to supporters and the general public!
