Headway Kent visits The Rotary Club of Ashford

Date: 10th April 2025

Headway Kent recently visited The Rotary club of Ashford. The club has donated a projector for our Ashford hub and so we were delighted for the opportunity to visit them and talk about the work that we do and how brain injury impacts an individual and their family.

They were surprised to hear there are over 4,000 people admitted to hospital in Kent each year with brain injury but pleased to hear how we support survivors after they are discharged from hospital.

Ashford Rotary Vice President Marion Dinwoodie says “We can now understand a lot more about the needs of the survivors and how the Headway Kent team’s work is a great contribution to their clients’ lives.”
