Our Community Hubs across Kent are dedicated to individuals with acquired brain injuries and provide a multifaceted support system that fosters social rehabilitation, peer support, and a sense of community. The holistic benefits extend not only to the individuals directly affected but also to their carers and the broader community.
If you love being active and social, our community hubs are perfect for you! Jam-packed with excitement so far we have enjoyed a variety of fun activities: from arts and crafts to thrilling trips out, catching the latest panto, dining out, and learning new digital skills. We hosted inspiring talks from guest speakers and offered sessions to boost cognitive and communication skills. We had so much fun, it was hard to squeeze in anything more!
We’re thrilled about our move to community venues. We believe brain injury survivors should be active members of their community, not hidden away. Ashford made a fantastic move to a lovely new community café in Victoria Park, and in 2024, our Hythe Community Hub expanded into two new exciting locations. Thanet also moved to a central spot for our with great Transport Links, making it even easier for you to join us.
Our hubs offer a variety of activities that keep everyone engaged and entertained:
Building Stronger Connections Moving our hubs into community venues helps us achieve our goal of integrating brain injury survivors into the heart of their communities.
We aim to expand our hubs and services across Kent, ensuring everyone has equal opportunities for engagement and support.
Whether you're looking to make new friends, learn new skills, or simply have a good time, we have something for everyone. We can't wait to see you there! See You Soon!
