Headway Kent Attends Funding for All Conference in Thanet

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending the Funding for All Conference in Thanet — an inspiring and energising day dedicated to strengthening the voluntary and community sector.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow charity leaders, share ideas, and discuss the realities we all face when it comes to funding and fundraising. As many organisations know, securing sustainable funding — or simply “money,” as it’s often described — remains one of the biggest ongoing challenges in our sector.

Throughout the day, we gained practical insights and fresh perspectives on how to approach fundraising more strategically and creatively. A particular highlight was the insightful workshop delivered by Kent Community Foundation – UK, which offered expert guidance and practical advice to help organisations like ours continue delivering meaningful impact.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the team at Funding for All for organising such a well-run and valuable event. Bringing charities together in this way strengthens collaboration, builds resilience, and reminds us that we are not alone in navigating sector challenges.
