Compromise….A group discussion
The Dover branch had a group discussion recently on ‘Compromise’.
The session started with a discussion on why a ‘win-win’ outcome is preferable to a ‘win-lose’ or ‘lose-lose’ outcome and how this business term relates to
We then went on to discuss 5 everyday scenarios where opposing views can cause conflict. The focus on this was to encourage clients to look at different perspectives and see things from
another persons point of view. From this base of understanding, the clients were able to work out some possible compromise solutions. The clients were given a handout at the end which had some useful pointers on changing attitudes when in conflict with another person.
